Bill a visit on the spot, a timecard that shows what needs a look, and one-tap On my way
This release lets your technician finish an assessment and get paid before
leaving the driveway. It rebuilds Time & Pay around the days and
decisions that need you, gives your team a clear briefing for every job site
and makes booking easier to get right the first time.
Heads up
Wrap up visit replaces Mark complete on assessments.
One sheet asks how the visit ended, then bills it or moves it on to a
quote (see below).
Arrival windows are now set by role. Owners and admins
can change the arrival window promised to a customer. Technicians see it
as read-only unless you turn on Change arrival windows
for their role in Settings → Members → Roles.
Once a visit has started, its window stays as it is for everyone.
Exporting payroll makes that week final. Once you run
payroll for a week, its days show as Paid and their time
can't be edited. Fix a paid day with an adjustment, which is paid on your
next export.
Timesheet days follow your business's time zone. Each
day runs midnight to midnight where you work, so evening work stays on the
day it was worked. You may see some past entries on a different day than
before. The hours are the same.
New forms book by your arrival windows. A new request
form offers the arrival windows from Settings →
Configurations, when an assessor can make them. Your existing
forms keep booking exact times until you change them under
Booking in the form editor. The form editor's own date
range and time slots have been retired, so every form follows your
settings.
New role switches.Cancel jobs,
Delete jobs and Edit time entries are on
for admins and off for technicians. Unlock locked time
and Take back paid time are on for owners, and
Adjust paid time is on for owners and admins. Change any
of them in Settings → Members → Roles.
New
Bill a visit on the spot.Wrap up
visit asks how the visit ended.
Fixed it today: the visit fee and findings become
lines your technician prices, then Bill issues the
invoice with no quote or job needed. Email it first, or choose
Take payment now for cash, check or a QR code.
Needs a quote: charge a diagnostic fee or make it a
free estimate, then carry on to Convert to
quote.
Set your default Diagnostic fee in Settings
→ Configurations. It starts at 0, a free estimate, and
any visit can differ.
A timecard built around what needs a look. In
Time & Pay → Timesheets, see the week at a
glance, and Approve all approves only the days that are
ready. Long days, overtime and shifts that need checking are marked with
why.
Day Replay: see a day as it happened, with punches
and job site arrivals and departures, plus a suggested end time for a
shift that was never clocked out.
Fix a day in one go: change clock in and clock out,
or edit, add and remove entries, each with a reason that's kept on
record.
Time off as a schedule decision.Time & Pay
→ PTO shows who's out against the jobs booked for the next
four weeks. Before you approve a request, see what it would do to your
coverage, their balance and their visits. Approve all or part of it, or
deny it with a reason. Every balance change is now kept in a history, and
you can add company holidays.
Pay rates at a glance.Time & Pay →
Pay Rates shows your whole team, who has no rate yet and what an
hour of the team costs. Schedule a raise for several people at once, in
dollars or percent, with the monthly cost before you confirm.
Close the week in payroll.Time & Pay
→ Payroll works one week at a time. It checks what's open,
such as unapproved time or hours with no rate. It shows estimated pay and
overtime cost and keeps every past run ready to download.
Job sites as places. A customer's Job
sites tab shows each place with an aerial picture, what's next
there and its codes and cautions.
A field briefing at every site. Add labelled details to
a site: gate codes, lockboxes, pets, hazards, filter sizes and more. Your
technician sees cautions first and codes big and ready to copy, on My Day,
visits, jobs, assessments and the schedule, and can correct a code right
from the driveway.
Cancel and reopen jobs.Cancel job
takes upcoming visits off the schedule, records why and can tell your
customer and your technicians. The job keeps its history in a
Cancelled view, and Reopen puts those
visits back. Delete job now works past the draft stage
when no real work hangs off the job, and lists anything in the way.
Add existing quotes from a PDF. On
Quotes or a customer's Quotes tab,
choose Add existing quote. Cadre reads the PDF for you to
check and you say where it stands. The PDF stays on the quote and nothing
is sent to your customer.
A visual studio for request forms. See your form as
your customer will, click anything to edit it and drag fields where you
want them, at desktop and phone width.
Improved
Book an assessment with the reasons in front of you.
Scheduling is three steps: date and time, technician, review.
Choose a day: each day shows how many starts or
windows are left, and a Full month view shows every
open window.
Choose who: each technician's best options show
their day, drive and stops. A clash says why and offers the nearest
free time.
Any time or a window: book to the minute or by
arrival window, including today and weekends. Problems are shown and
you decide, with Schedule anyway.
Before you book: see the exact confirmation your
customer will get.
On my way in one tap. Every On my way
button gets your location, works out the drive and sends the arrival time.
If location is off, Cadre asks you for an arrival time instead.
Assessments now send the same live map as jobs.
Arrival windows hold the crew. A technician stays
booked until the window closes or the work ends, whichever is later, so
nobody is double-booked inside a window you promised.
After-hours windows stay apart. Window pickers list
your own windows first, then the after-hours ones in their own group.
A New customer form you can type straight through.
Three short sections, a search-first address, and a prompt if the email or
phone is already on a customer. Billing addresses now have their own
street, unit, city, state and ZIP.
Assessments on phones. A calmer day view with visits at
full width, and linked work opens with a tap.
Invoices. Sort the table by any column. Cadre remembers
your choice.
App Marketplace. Same-size cards for each app, and
every app has its own page.
Business hours that work. Settings explains when a
closing time is before the opening time, or when the day is too short for
one assessment, so your online booking has times to offer.
Requests. Drag the list to the width you like. Cadre
remembers it.
Fixes
View Visit on the schedule opens that visit.
Dialogs and menus on a phone's assessment page open on
top, including Reschedule, Delete and the ⋯
menu.
Quote and invoice check dialogs fit the screen, with
long lines wrapped.
Earlier releases
Auto-pay, reviews and referrals, and a Cadre rebuilt around what needs you next
This release lets your customers pay automatically and helps you earn more
reviews and referrals. It also brings a Notification Center that gets work
done and new layouts for the screens you use most, each built around what
needs your attention next.
Heads up
New invoices use your payment terms. A new invoice
takes the terms set on its job, or your business default (14 days unless
you change it in Settings → Configurations → Quotes
& invoices). You can change the terms on any invoice in its
editor.
One live form for each kind of request. Forms are now
live or in your library, with one live form per workflow, and this choice
follows you across devices. The unused Quote Approval and
Invoice forms have been retired.
The red banner is for emergencies. Other urgent
notifications appear in a badge beside the bell in the header, which you
can open to see each one.
New job has moved. Start a job from
Jobs. The dashboard no longer has a Create New
Job button.
New
Auto-pay. Your customers can keep a card on file and
have each invoice charged on its due date. They agree to the terms on a
page with your branding or by phone with your office, and they're told the
amount, card and date when you send each invoice. After the charge, they
get your branded receipt and its PDF. If a card is declined, you're
alerted and your customer gets a link to update it. It's off until you
turn it on in Settings → Configurations → Payments &
auto-pay, then set it up from a customer's profile.
Reviews and referrals. Find them under
Operations → Reviews & referrals.
Ratings: after a job is finished, Cadre can ask
your customer to rate it, then offer them your public review pages.
Low ratings alert your owners and admins, with a suggested reply to
edit.
Referrals: happy customers get their own link to
send friends. When a friend's first job is finished, Cadre tracks the
rewards you offer, for you to give.
Leaderboard: see how technicians are rated.
Technicians see the leaderboard and their own ratings.
Both are off until you turn them on from that page.
Know where your leads come from. Add ready-made
How did you hear about us? and Who referred
you? questions to your request forms. Answers land on the request
and the customer, and the Marketing tab in
Insights brings together your lead sources, ratings and
referrals. You can also add review and referral links to quotes, invoices,
receipts and job confirmations.
Notification Center. The bell opens an inbox that gets
work done. Sort by needs action, mentions, money, schedule, team and
sales. Send a reminder, approve time off or a purchase order, reply to a
mention, reschedule or convert to a job right from the notification, and
mark items Done, Snooze or
Mute. Settings → Notifications sets
what you receive on each channel, plus quiet hours that urgent alerts can
still break through.
Month at a glance and flexible recurring jobs.
Recurring jobs can repeat every 1, 2, 3, 6 or 12 months with no dates set
ahead. Month at a glance on the dashboard shows who is
due this month, with any overdue first, so you can book or skip each one.
You also get a reminder on the 1st.
Six ready-made forms. Start a form from Service
Request, Emergency Service, Estimate, Maintenance / Tune-up, Commercial /
Property Manager or Quick Contact. Emergency Service submissions always
arrive as emergencies.
Add note photos to a document. Photos, videos and files
in a note have an Add to invoice or Add to
quote button.
Improved
Requests. Tabs follow what each request needs, with
counts, a clock on every request still waiting and one clear next step.
Book the assessment right from the request, with free technicians listed
best fit first.
Assessments. A Today timeline with a
page for each visit, your findings and a clear path to a quote.
Quotes. A pipeline with stage cards, list and board
views, saved views, CSV export and bulk archive. Each quote has its own
page showing where your customer is in the process.
Schedule. Owners and admins get a team board with
capacity, drive time to scale between stops, an unscheduled panel and a
route map. Technicians get their own view of their day.
Dispatch. The day fits on one screen, with your crew, a
job queue for each technician and stops you pick up and drag. If a drag
puts a route out of time order, Cadre offers to move the appointments to
match, and it can tell your customers.
Invoices. A cash desk with aging, what needs attention,
each invoice's next step, saved views, CSV export and bulk reminders, plus
balances by customer.
Dashboard. A fresh layout with your day as a timeline,
and a 30-day cash chart with the invoices and payments behind each day,
running totals and a comparison with the 30 days before.
Left menu. Each destination shows what's waiting, and a
Today card shows your next stop and time on the
clock.
Settings.
Configurations has eight searchable groups.
General is a guided profile with a live preview of
your quote, invoice, booking page and email.
Account shows your sign-ins and devices.
Billing leads with your plan's status and next
step.
Activity log is a timeline with filters,
before-and-after details and CSV export.
Forms & Documents. See your live forms with this
month's submissions, then a searchable library and a preview of each
document.
Your own arrival windows and warranty. Set
Custom windows instead of even ones, and any callback
warranty from 1 to 730 days, in Settings →
Configurations.
Dates and times. Cadre's date and time pickers are the
same across every screen. Type a time or a date, or pick from the list and
calendar.
Slide to clock in. On phones, slide to start your
shift, with a clear confirmation once you're on the clock.
Edit a contact. On a customer's profile, open a contact
and choose Edit details to change their name, email and
phone. If they're on other customers too, Cadre tells you the change shows
there as well.
Same person, several customers. When someone is on
several customers, Is this the same person? asks which
one you mean.
Addresses. Quotes take the street, unit, city, state
and ZIP in their own fields. Suggestions start near you and show the full
address.
The Cadre app. An animated launch screen plays after
you sign in, and Android notifications show the Cadre wrench.
Fixes
Expanded maps fill the screen, and a pin's details open
on the side with room.
Trials that run out read Trial ended on the Billing
page, with a reminder on the dashboard in a trial's last 7 days.
Callbacks for finished work, and a new home for every customer
This release gives you one place to handle problems with work you've already
finished, from the customer's report to the return visit, with an on-call
rotation for the ones that can't wait. It also brings a redesigned customer
list and customer profile, and units for apartments and suites.
Heads up
Your customers can report a problem with finished work.
Invoices and receipts for a single job now include a Report an
issue button. Your customer describes what's wrong, marks it as
an emergency if it is, adds photos or a short video and picks times that
suit them. Each report lands in Requests →
Callbacks. To handle reports by phone only, turn the form off in
Forms & Documents (see below).
Emergency callbacks arrive as high-alert notifications.
On phones they use Cadre's urgent alert, which iOS shows as time
sensitive. In the browser they show a red banner with a sound. Choose who
receives them under Settings → On call → Admins on
call.
Callbacks have their own page. They're listed under
Requests → Callbacks, and
Assessments shows your other requests.
Requests still shows everything.
The customer profile has a new layout. Everything you
had is still there, arranged into an Overview and tabs in
the same order for every customer.
New
Callbacks. A callback is a request about a job you've
already done, linked to that job. Cadre fills in the customer, the job
site, the completion date and the technician who did the work, and
dispatch suggests that technician first. Your customer gets a confirmation
that you received it.
Report one yourself. On a job, More →
Submit callback records a problem your customer called about
or your technician found, with notes, priority and photos.
Copy customer issue link gives you the link to send
your customer.
Warranty window. Callbacks within your window (30
days unless you change it in Settings →
Configurations) show as In warranty, so you
know the return visit isn't billed. Later ones show as Out of
warranty for you to decide. Convert to Quote
turns a callback into billable work.
The Callbacks page.Requests →
Callbacks opens on a Triage board with the work
sorted by severity: Emergency, High priority, Moderate and Low. Each card
shows a live clock counting how long it has waited for dispatch. Search
and filter by severity, warranty, who reported it and open or closed, and
call or text the customer straight from a card. Emergencies are pinned to
the top in red.
A full page for each callback. See the customer's own
words, answers, photos and video, the original work and its warranty, and
a timeline. From there, dispatch it using the times your customer picked,
add the root cause and close it out. On phones, Call and
Assign & schedule stay at the bottom of the
screen.
Callback quality. The Quality
analytics tab shows your first-time fix rate against the previous
period, your average time to dispatch, how many callbacks were covered
under warranty, the most common root causes and reasons, and each
technician's first-time fix rate.
On call. In Settings → On call,
set a rotation of team members who take urgent callbacks. Hand off daily,
weekly, every two weeks or every few days at a time you choose, and add
covers for swaps and time off. Choose whether on call applies around the
clock or after hours and weekends. Emergency callbacks, or every callback,
can go straight to the person on call: assigned, scheduled for today and
sent a high-alert notification, with the office told who has it. Everyone
can see who's on call now and the turns coming up.
Admins on call. Pick which owners and admins receive
the emergency alert while on call applies, so the rest of your office
isn't woken at 2 AM. With after-hours coverage, every owner and admin
still gets it during business hours.
Your own Report an issue form. In Forms &
Documents, choose Actions → Edit on the
Report an issue card to rename and reorder the questions,
edit the issue choices, hide the ones you don't need and add your own
questions, with a live preview of what your customer sees. Actions
→ Turn off stops online reports. While it's off, the button
leaves your invoices and receipts, and anyone who opens an earlier link is
asked to call you.
Units at a job site. One address can now hold many
units, such as apartments, suites or townhomes. On a customer's
Job sites tab, add one unit or many at once by typing
ranges like 1-12, 14, A-D. Units sit under their
building, and customer search finds them.
A unit on every address. Wherever you enter an address,
there's a Unit, apt or suite field: new and existing
requests, quotes and jobs, plus your online request form, so customers can
give theirs. Work entered with a unit is filed under that unit on the
customer.
Edit a request's address.Edit address
on a request changes its address and unit, and the request moves to the
matching job site.
Start new work from a customer.New on
a customer's profile opens a request, quote, job or invoice with the
customer, their contact and the site already filled in. Every job site and
unit has its own New here menu too.
Improved
A redesigned customer profile.
At the top: your customer's details,
Call and Email buttons, and a red
marker when they have an open callback.
Summary strip: paid, outstanding and unbilled
amounts, plus open requests, quotes and jobs. It stays the same on
every tab.
Overview: details and notes, the primary contact
with their language and text and email consent, other contacts, job
sites grouped by building, and recent activity across every
record.
Tabs and menu: the tabs run in the same order for
individuals and companies. Status, conversion to a company and marking
for deletion are in the ⋯ menu.
Job sites for every customer. Individual customers have
the full Job sites tab too, so you can edit, archive and
add units to their locations. Individuals can also keep notes.
Open a job site in place. Click a job site on a
customer's profile to open it. A building lists its units, each with its
gate code, on-site contact and records, plus Edit and
New here, and you can add a unit right there.
See the records behind any count. Click a count of
records on a customer's profile, a job site, a unit, the customer list or
the preview, and a panel lists those requests, callbacks, quotes, jobs and
invoices. Click one to open it.
Recent activity in pages. On a customer's profile,
recent activity fills the space beside the customer's details and pages
through the rest.
Gate codes stand out. A job site's gate code and access
notes show in amber with a key, ready to copy, on the customer's profile,
jobs, visits, requests, callbacks, the schedule and invoices.
Phone numbers read (555) 555-5555. Numbers format as
you type them and show the same way across Cadre. Extensions and
international numbers stay as you enter them.
A full-width customer list.
Layout: the Customers page uses your whole screen,
with columns for contact details, billing address, people, sites and
each type of record. Sort by clicking a column heading.
Counts and filters: the counts at the top cover all
your customers and work as filters, alongside status and type filters
that show their own counts.
Preview a customer from the list. Click a customer to
open a preview beside the list:
Contact: call or email them, see their primary
contact and role, and copy their details.
At a glance: what they owe and have paid, their
people and sites, and their latest records.
Start work: begin a request, quote, job or invoice
for them.
Click the same customer again to open their profile. On phones, the list
shows as cards.
The Requests menu folds away. In the left menu, the
arrow next to Requests shows or hides
Assessments and Callbacks, and Cadre
remembers your choice. Callbacks shows how many are
waiting for a technician, and a red marker while an emergency is
waiting.
Technician photos show on callback cards, the priority
list and each callback's page.
Fixes
Addresses show each city once on customer pages and on
the requests, quotes and jobs you start from a customer.
Bring your invoice history into Cadre, and jobs that close when they're paid
This release brings your past invoices into Cadre, from a spreadsheet or
straight from their PDFs, and keeps every job open until it's paid. It
also makes sure a customer is only ever matched to someone you already
have when you say so.
Heads up
You decide when a new contact is someone you already
have. When a request or booking comes in with an email or
phone number already on file, Cadre adds it as a new person and asks
on the request: Is this the same person? Choose
Yes to put it on the customer you have, or
No to keep them separate. You'll see the same
question when you add a customer or start a job with details that
match someone on file. Households, offices and a property's next
owner often share an email or phone, so Cadre always asks
first.
A job closes when it's paid in full. Finished jobs
move through three views under Jobs →
Billing: To Invoice until all the work is
on a sent invoice, Awaiting Payment while your
customer still owes on it, and Closed once the
balance is paid. A draft invoice keeps a job under To Invoice until
you send it.
New
Add invoices from their PDFs. On
Invoices → Add existing invoice, drop one PDF
or several at once, including scans and photos. Cadre reads the
number, date, customer, lines and total for you to check, and asks
whether the invoice has been paid. The PDF stays on the invoice for
your team. If an invoice looks like one you already have, Cadre shows
you which.
Link an existing invoice to a job. On a job's
Billing tab, choose Link existing
invoice, or use Link to job in the new
Job column on the Invoices list. The job then reads
as invoiced. Unlink puts everything back as it
was.
Imported invoices are easy to spot. Invoices
brought over from your previous system carry an
Imported badge with their old number. Filter the
Invoices list by Imported or Made in Cadre, and search by the old
number.
Record a payment you received another way.Collect Payment → Another way records a bank
transfer, Zelle or a card you took outside Cadre, with a reference.
Cash, check and other payments take the date you received
them.
Customer status. Set a customer to
Inactive to tidy your list (new work makes them
active again), or Mark for deletion to remove an
empty customer after 30 days. Customers Cadre creates for you show an
Incomplete flag until their name, contact details
and address are in. Sort your customer list by last activity, name,
email or location.
Mark a quote as sent. For a quote you hand over in
person or by mail, Mark as sent moves it to Awaiting
Response without emailing anyone. Print is also in
the quote editor now.
Improved
Bring over your invoice history from a spreadsheet.Settings → Data → Import → Invoices
reads how each invoice was paid, with a Paid with
choice for rows that don't say. Import your jobs first and each
invoice lands on its job's customer. Invoices with no due date are
due on receipt.
The Jobs list at a glance. Views are grouped into
Work (Scheduled, Unscheduled) and
Billing (To Invoice, Awaiting Payment, Closed), each
with its count. Job cards show the balance still due.
One way to start a job.New Job
opens the job right on the Jobs page, with a customer picker that
asks before using a customer you already have.
Bill the rest of a job. When an invoice covers part
of a job, the job shows exactly what's left to bill.
Invoice remaining work bills just that, and you can
add a PDF for each part. A payment schedule divides what's still
owed.
Invoice totals at a glance. Unpaid invoices due on
receipt count toward Due within next 30 days, and
Average time to get paid counts the invoices you
send from Cadre.
Reactions on team notes. Each reaction has its own
colour and meaning. Hover over one, or press and hold on a phone, to
see who left it. Thumbs up and down show in each person's own skin
tone.
Cleaner icons across Cadre and in the emails your
customers receive.
Fixes
Every invoice gets its own number. New invoices
always continue from your highest invoice number.
Amounts show to the cent everywhere, including job
cards and balances.
Live trails that follow the road, and stronger security
Live trails on Dispatch follow the roads your crew drives, online
bookings go to your current team, and this release strengthens security
across Cadre.
Improved
Live trails follow the road. On
Dispatch, a technician's trail follows the roads
they drove, including stretches where their phone sent fewer location
updates. The trail runs right up to their live position on the
map.
Stronger security. We made several improvements to
how Cadre protects your account and your data. Nothing changes in how
you sign in or use Cadre.
Fixes
Online bookings go to your current team. When a
customer books a site visit online, Cadre offers times from, and
assigns the visit to, people who are on your team today.
Custom roles, a calmer Jobs screen, and more contacts per customer
You can now create your own roles and choose exactly what each one can
open and do. The Jobs screen has a new layout that puts each job's next
step up front, Settings → Members has a new look, homeowners can
have more than one contact, and when someone leaves your team their open
work is ready to hand to someone else.
Heads up
Customers who opted in to texts get a text when their
request comes in. Along with the confirmation email, they
get a short text saying you've received their request, with the date
and time of their site visit if they booked one. To turn it off, go
to Settings → Configurations → Customer
notifications → Request received.
When someone leaves your team, their open work moves to
Unassigned. Removing or deactivating a team member takes
them off their upcoming visits, open requests and route stops. That
work appears in the Unassigned lanes on Dispatch and
the Schedule, and every owner and admin gets a notification listing
what needs a new technician. If they shared a visit with someone, it
stays with that person. Completed work keeps their name.
Your roles work as they do today. The new
permission switches start out matching how Owner, Admin and
Technician work now, so nothing changes for your team until you
change a role.
New
Custom roles. In Settings → Members
→ Roles, create a role for any job title, like Lead
Tech or Office Manager, starting from Admin or Technician or from a
copy of another role. Give people the role from the Team tab or when
you invite them.
Choose what each role can open. Turn pages on
or off, and they appear or disappear from that role's
menu.
Choose what each role can do. Switches grouped
by area (field work, dispatch, dashboard, jobs, money, time and
pay, team and settings), each with a plain description, such as
Call customers, Assign stops,
See revenue on the dashboard or Manage
pay. Anything that differs from the role it started from
is marked Changed, and Reset
puts it back.
Built-in roles too. Admin and Technician can
be adjusted the same way. Owner always has full access.
More contacts for your homeowners. An individual
customer can now have other people on file, such as a spouse, a
tenant or whoever pays the bills. Add them from Other
contacts on the customer's card, or the
People tab, each with their own text consent and
language.
Choose who hears about each job.Notifications go to on a request, quote, job or
invoice lets you pick which people get the emails and texts, and
whether each one gets email, text or both.
Send the bills to someone else. Make another

Filter by Status (with how many jobs are in
each) and by Technician, on one line. Each job

The next step comes first. Each job leads with
one button for what to do next, such as Send
Invoice, Send Confirmation or
Add Visit, with everything else under
⋯. One banner tells you what needs
attention, and + more shows the rest.
The job at a glance. Tiles show visits done,

Billing has its own tab. The payment schedule
and the job's invoices are together on Billing,
where you can send a draft or open any invoice.
Visits open right in the job. Tap a visit, or a

at the bottom as you scroll. The date and time fields fit on any
screen size.
See Start and Done land. When you tap

email is already on file under a different name, Cadre asks whether
it's the same person. Choose Yes to use the person
on file, or No to add a new person who shares the
email, as a household or office often does.
Edit where someone works. A customer's
Company is part of their details on the customer
card. When someone is a contact on more than one customer, the edit
form tells you their changes apply on all of them.
Card processing fee on any invoice. Invoices you
create by hand have a Pass the card processing fee to the
customer switch under the totals, using your workspace
rate.
My Day is always there. On days with nothing
assigned, My Day on the dashboard shows All
caught up.
Fixes
Assessments shows its icon under
Requests in the menu.
Pass card fees to your customers, and a live crew board
You can now pass card processing fees to customers who pay by card, and
choose which automatic messages Cadre sends them. Dispatch gets a live
crew board that shows what every technician is doing right now, and
missed appointments are easy to follow up.
Heads up
Bank payments show as paid once they clear. When a
customer pays by bank transfer online, the invoice or deposit is
marked paid when the money arrives, usually in a few business days,
and the payment is recorded as a bank transfer. Your customer sees a
note that their payment is on its way.
Rescheduling from Dispatch tells your customer and
technician. When you move a missed visit to a new day, your
customer gets the new date and arrival window by email (and text, if
they've opted in), and the technician gets a heads-up. Untick
Let the customer know to move it quietly.
The crew board replaces the job list on Dispatch.
Each technician now has a card with their route; click a card to show
or hide that route on the map.
The card processing fee is off until you turn it
on. Nothing changes for your customers until you set it
up.
New
Pass the card processing fee to your customer. Set
your rate (a percent plus a flat amount, up to 3% of the payment) in
Settings → Configurations → Card processing
fee and turn it on.
On every quote and invoice. New quotes and
invoices show "Card processing fee" as its own line, for card
payments only. Untick it under Pricing on a
quote, or Payment options on a new invoice, to
waive it for that customer. A job's invoices follow its
quote.
Your customer chooses. The pay page and the
deposit offer Pay by card, with the fee shown on
the button, or Pay by bank with no fee. Cash and
check never carry it.
On receipts and in QuickBooks. Receipts list
the fee as its own line with the total charged, and QuickBooks
gets it as its own line too. The fee is kept separate from the
invoice total, so balances and payment schedules stay exactly as
agreed.
Choose which messages your customers get. In
Settings → Configurations → Customer
notifications, owners and admins can turn automatic messages
off all at once, or one at a time: appointment reminders, appointment
confirmations and changes, payment reminders, request received, and
quote approved. Anything your team sends by pressing
Send, like quotes, invoices, receipts and On
my way, always goes. The customer's message history shows
anything that was turned off.
Live crew board.Dispatch shows
every technician with their photo, what they're doing now and how far
through their day they are. Every stop shows its status (scheduled,
on the way, arrived, working, complete, late or missed) on the board
and the map. Hover a technician or stop to find it on the map, and
open a technician's stops to reorder them.
Departure alerts. When a technician leaves a
stop, Dispatch chimes and shows who's driving, with their trip
drawn on the map, the time to their next stop, and a warning if
they go off route.
Your own colours. Recolour the status key to
suit you; your colours are saved to your account.
Missed appointments. A past visit or assessment
nobody started shows as missed, and a banner lists the ones still
waiting for a reason. The technician or a dispatcher picks the reason
and can reschedule it on the spot; the miss stays in the visit's
history.
Improved
Fix purchase order items. Open a purchase order and
tap Edit items to correct an item's name, SKU,
quantity or price, for example when a receipt scan reads something
wrong, or to remove an item nothing has arrived for. The change is
noted in the job's history.
Map pins land on the job. When a technician starts
work at a job, Cadre moves the job's pin to where they are, so
arrivals, routes and your customer's On my way page
use the right spot next time.
Breaks on the way. If a technician stops for lunch
or a break while on the way, your customer's tracking page says so
and updates the arrival time when they're back on the road.
Routes follow the roads on the Dispatch map.
Fixes
Technicians who join your team from another Cadre workspace can
clock in right away.
Route numbers on the Dispatch map show every stop's status in your
colours, and the details card opens on the side of the map with
room.
Companies as customers, and purchase orders from the field
Cadre now handles commercial customers: a company with several people,
many job sites, and the right person getting each message. Technicians
can raise purchase orders from the job, with approvals, receiving and
supplier bills built in. This release also brings Insights, real labor
cost on every job, and a faster schedule.
Heads up
Customers are now individuals or companies. Your
existing customers carried over as individual customers, with all
their records. To make one a company, open their file and choose
Convert to company.
You choose who gets each message. Each request,
quote, job and invoice has a Notifications go to
list. On my way and the day-before reminder go to
the job's on-site person, and a company's invoices go to its billing
contact. When no one is picked, messages go to the customer as they
do today.
Rescheduling re-sends the confirmation. When you
move a visit on a job your customer was asked to confirm, they get
the new time with a confirm link, and the job goes back to awaiting
confirmation. When you drag a visit, Cadre asks first; in the visit
editor, untick send the new time to confirm to move
it quietly.
A client email or phone typed on a record updates the
customer. Change it on a request, quote, job or invoice and
it's saved to that person's customer file, and their other open
records follow.
On my way starts travel time. Tapping On
my way starts the technician's travel time on that job (and
clocks them in for the day if they aren't yet). Start
Visit switches it to work time, and Complete
Visit stops it.
Parts go on purchase orders. Job costs are now for
things without a supplier order: fuel and travel, permits and fees,
disposal, subcontractors and equipment rental. Costs marked as
estimates are retired: earlier ones show as "Estimate – not
counted" and are left out of job profit.
More goes to QuickBooks. If QuickBooks is
connected, job costs sync as expenses on the job, and supplier bills
from purchase orders sync as bills (returns as vendor credits).
Settings → Configurations is for owners and
admins.
New
Companies, people and job sites. A company
customer can have any number of people, each with a role, and any
number of job sites with a label, access notes and a usual on-site
contact. One person can be on several customers. Picking a site
fills in who's on site.
Requests made for a company. When someone
fills in a company name on your request form, the request offers
Link to [company] or Create
company. The customer picker also has New
company….
The company leads everywhere. Lists, the
schedule, dispatch, search, Insights and exports show
"Company · caller". Quotes, invoices and change orders
are addressed to the company with "Attn:" the person.
Everyone in their own language. Each person
gets quotes, receipts, change orders and text opt-in links in
their own language, and opting in from an email records consent
for whoever opened it.
Archived customers and sites.Customers → Archived lists customers that
were merged into a company, and archived job sites sit under
each company's sites list. Restore brings either
one back.
Purchase orders from the field. On a job's
Costing tab or a visit's Costs tab,
tap Create PO. The PO number is ready right away,
and works with no signal.
Quick or itemized. Enter the supplier, total
and a photo of the counter slip, or list items from your price
book, add an item by hand, or tap Scan a
barcode. Cadre can also read a receipt photo for
you.
Your own PO numbers. Type the supplier's or
your customer's PO number, or let Cadre number them per job
(PO-1042-01), in one running sequence, or not at all. Set this in
Settings → Configurations → Purchase
orders.
Approvals. Set an approval limit for each team
member under Approval limits. A PO over the
limit waits for an owner or admin, who gets an urgent alert and
approves it in one tap.
Receiving and bills. Receive items as they
arrive, record the supplier's bill, and Cadre compares the bill
with what you ordered and received, flagging differences beyond
your tolerance. Returns reduce the job's cost.
Reminders. Cadre reminds technicians about POs
still missing a receipt, and Inventory Hub
filters show POs that need approval, are unbilled, or have
differences.
Insights. A new page, first under Operations, for
owners and admins: money invoiced and collected, your sales funnel
and win rate, profit by job and by service, cash and overdue
invoices, a team scorecard and your top customers. It points out
what needs attention, like unbilled finished work or quotes waiting
on customers, with links to the records. Every table exports to a
spreadsheet.
Real labor cost on every job. The
Costing tab has a Labor card: who's on the job now,
travel and on-site hours, and cost at each person's pay rate, by
visit or by person. Job profit uses it, and anyone missing a pay rate
is named with a link to set it. Technicians tap Done for
today and Resume on multi-day work.
Move visits by dragging. On the Week, Day and
Dispatch views, drag a visit to a new time or day, drag its bottom
edge to change its length, or drag it to another person in Dispatch.
It works on phones too: press and hold to pick one up. Click a visit
to edit its time, crew and details in place.
Dispatch layouts and live team status. Switch
Dispatch between Day and Week, and between columns and rows. Each
person's card shows whether they're clocked in, traveling, on a
break or off, and approved time off is shaded on their row.
Arrival windows on any visit. Give any visit an
arrival window, and your customer sees it in confirmations, reminders
and documents. Set the window length in Settings →
Configurations, and turn on 24/7 emergency
service to offer after-hours windows and flag emergency
requests as urgent.
Record your customer's decision. When a customer
approves a quote or change order by phone, text or in person, record
it from the quote or change order. When they confirm a visit that
way, tap Mark confirmed. The history shows how and
who.
Job attachments. Jobs have an
Attachments tab. Converting a quote brings its
attachments along, and on a quote you tick Customer sees
this on each attachment you want your customer to
see.
What's new in Tutorial Mode. The Tutorial menu
lists recent features you can use, and a page tour shows just what
changed since you last took it.
Improved
Every new invoice opens the invoice editor.
Invoicing a job builds the draft from its unbilled work in one tap. A
new invoice without a job asks Who's this invoice
for? first, and you can type lines straight onto it. An
invoice for a job takes new work through a change order.
The job's profit adds up. The Costing tab shows
Revenue, Materials (purchase orders plus parts on line items), Labor,
Other job costs and Net Profit.
Imports take Excel files as they are. Import .xlsx
and .xls files straight from your old software, even with a report
title above the column headings. Inventory now uses the same importer
as Settings → Data, and columns are matched
more cleverly. The Help Center has a new guide for moving over from
Service Fusion.
Easier-to-read help articles. Every Help Center
article now uses headings, numbered steps, lists and tips.
Teammates in the same place share a pin on the
Live Map and the dispatch map, with their faces side by side. Zoom in
to separate them.
Your customer's quote page. The text opt-in sits
in the page with its full wording shown, and the Approve and Request
Changes buttons stay on one line.
Progress while you wait. Creating a quote, job or
invoice, and saving or sending an invoice, shows a progress
screen.
Fixes
The Month view shows every event in the month, and picking a day in
any view shows that day's events.
Send Confirmation on a job sends with all of its visits.
Editing a payment in QuickBooks keeps it syncing with Cadre.
The Dashboard opens smoothly in the iPhone app when location
starts.
Your customers can follow you live on the way
When a technician taps On my way, your customer can now
watch them arrive on a live map, with an arrival time that keeps itself
up to date. Signing in to Cadre also has a fresh new look.
Heads up
"On my way" messages include a live map link. When
location tracking is on for your workspace and the technician is
clocked in, the On my way text and email include a link your
customer can open to follow the technician's arrival. The map stops
showing the technician's location once they arrive, and the link
ends after four hours at most. When tracking is off, or the
technician isn't clocked in, On my way sends the same message as
before.
Location updates while Cadre is open. A
technician's position updates while they're clocked in and Cadre is
open on their phone. When Cadre is closed or in the background,
their position pauses until they open it again, and your customer's
map keeps counting down the arrival time.
New
Live arrival map for your customers. The link in
On my way opens a page showing your business name, the technician's
first name, their position and route on a map, and an estimated
arrival time ("6 min, arriving around 9:42 AM"). It updates as they
drive, and when they arrive it simply says they've arrived. If you
change the job's address while they're on the way, the map and
arrival time follow the new address. The page is in English or
Spanish, matching your customer's language, with a switch to change
it.
Service numbers. Every service in your catalog now
has a number, like S-1001, shown beside its name. Your existing
services were numbered in their catalog order. Choose how new ones
are numbered in Settings → Configurations → Service
numbers: automatically, or enter your own (such as the item
codes you already use). You can change any service's number when you
edit it. Search by number on the Services page and
when adding a line to a quote or invoice, and find the number in
services import and export.
Export everything.Settings → Data
→ Export now includes visits, line items on jobs,
quotes and invoices, payments, team notes, timesheets and inventory,
alongside customers, services, jobs, quotes and invoices. The jobs
export also shows how each recurring job repeats, its assigned
technician, visit counts and next visit, and its team notes.
Bring your history with you.Settings
→ Data → Import now takes jobs, visits, quotes,
invoices, payments and notes from Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan
or a spreadsheet, alongside customers and services. Cadre matches
your columns, shows a preview, and imports only when you confirm.
Imported records keep their original dates, get Cadre numbers, and
can still be found by their old ones. Nothing is sent to your
customers. Running the same file again won't create
duplicates.
Improved
The Dashboard's Live Map. The map formerly called
"Live Job Map" is now the Live Map, and it does
more:
Details right on the map. Tap a teammate or a
job and a small card opens inside the map, so you can keep moving
around while you read it. Tap the map or the X to close it.
See where your crew is headed. A teammate
who's driving shows who they're driving to. When they've sent On
my way, you also see the arrival time their customer sees.
Smoother movement. Teammates glide to their
new position as they move, and the map loads faster on
phones.
A new sign-in screen. Signing in shows a fresh
Cadre design on the web and in the mobile app, with a clearer welcome
and form.
Cadre's own fonts on sign-in and setup. The
sign-in and new-account setup screens use the same typefaces as the
rest of the Cadre brand.
See what your crew is doing on the live map
The live map now shows what each teammate on the clock is doing (on a
job, driving, on lunch) and how far they are from you. Every address
opens in the maps app you choose, and Cadre is easier to use on a
phone.
Heads up
Location is shared from any screen while clocked
in. When location tracking is turned on for your workspace,
a technician's position updates the whole time they're on the
clock, wherever they are in Cadre. Nothing is shared off the clock,
and clocking out takes them off the map.
Plans need enough seats for your team. In
Settings → Billing, a plan with fewer seats
than your active team members shows "Your team has N members" and
can't be chosen. Pick a larger plan, or deactivate members
first.
New
Live crew status on the map. On the Dashboard's
live map, each teammate on the clock shows what they're doing and
for how long: on a job (and which one), at a route stop, on lunch or
a break, driving (with their speed), walking or stopped. Each pin
points the way they're heading.
Drive time to a teammate. Tap a teammate on the
map to see their status and how long it would take you to drive to
them in current traffic, then tap for directions.
Choose your maps app. The first time you open an
address or directions, Cadre asks whether to use Apple Maps, Google
Maps or Waze, and remembers your choice on that device. Every
address and directions link in Cadre opens there. Change it any
time in Settings → Account → Maps &
directions.
Improved
One screen when a subscription ends. If your
workspace's plan or trial has ended, Cadre shows a single screen
saying so. Owners and admins can choose a plan from there;
technicians see a note to ask their workspace owner. Settings and
Help stay open, and everything in your workspace is saved.
A bigger map on your phone. The Dashboard's live
map fills most of the screen on phones.
Full screen on the Dispatch map sits alongside the
Map, Satellite and Traffic buttons.
One location prompt in the mobile app. Cadre asks
for permission to use your location once, the standard way for your
phone.
Fixes
After choosing a plan on the web and checking out, you return to
Settings → Billing.
A new Help Center, support tickets, and a more capable Inventory
Getting help in Cadre is now much easier: the Help Center has a new
look, covers everything Cadre does today, and lets you send us a ticket
about a specific job or invoice and follow it through to a fix. This
update also makes overdue invoices easier to spot, adds stock tracking
and purchase orders to Inventory, and makes invoicing a job smarter
about what's already been billed.
Heads up
Invoices now turn Past Due on their own. The day
after an invoice's due date (in your business's time zone), an
invoice that still has money owing moves to Past Due.
When this update goes live, invoices that are already past their
due date will move to Past Due too. Your customers don't get an
extra email for the change, and each move is noted in the invoice's
Activity. If a due date needs changing, update it
and the invoice follows.
Partly paid invoices get late reminders. A
Partially Paid invoice that goes past its due date becomes Past Due
and gets the usual reminders at 3 and 14 days late.
Overdue A/R on the Dashboard shows what's overdue.
It now totals your Past Due balances, so you can see at a glance how
much is late.
A simpler Configurations page. In
Settings → Configurations, the Workflow and
Field requirements options and Job number format
have been retired for now. Job numbers continue as J-1001, J-1002
and so on.
Leftover work on a paid invoice goes on a new one.
If you take a line off an invoice and the rest is paid, bill it with
Invoice remaining work on the job. Paid invoices
stay as they are.
Deleting a request removes it for your whole team.
Cadre asks you to confirm first. The Deleted section on the Requests
page has been retired.
New
Support tickets. From Help → Submit a
ticket, choose what your problem is about (Billing, Jobs,
Invoices and more), pick the exact job, invoice, quote, request or
customer it concerns, and tell us what happened. You get a ticket
number and a confirmation email.
Follow it in Cadre.Help → My
tickets shows each ticket's status: Open, In progress,
Waiting on you, Resolved or Closed. You can reply or close a
ticket there.
Hear back right away. You get a notification
and an email whenever we reply or the status changes.
Who sees what. Technicians see their own
tickets. Owners and admins see every ticket from their
team.
Tickets work even if your subscription has lapsed, so you can
always reach us about billing.
Stock tracking in Inventory. The Inventory Hub now
tracks what you have and where it is.
Add items one at a time or by importing a
spreadsheet. Importing again updates your existing items.
Locations such as your warehouse, each van or
a job site. Adjust stock to set a count or add
and remove stock, and Transfer between
locations. Every change is kept in the item's history.
Low stock alerts for any item you give a
reorder point.
Purchase orders.Auto-PO
drafts one order per supplier for items that are running low and
aren't already on order. Email it to your supplier from Cadre,
then Receive it into a location when it
arrives.
Link Operations notes to a job. When you post a
note in Operations, search for the job by number,
title or customer. Each note shows who posted it and links straight
to its job.
Improved
Smarter invoicing from a job.Send
Invoice on a job brings across only work that isn't on an
invoice yet, and shows which invoices already cover the job and
what's still due on them. A finished job shows where it was billed
("Billed on INV-0042 · Awaiting Payment"). If you've taken
something off an invoice, the job lists it, with Add to
INV-0042 to put it back or Invoice remaining
work to bill it separately, and the job stays in
Requires Invoicing until everything on it is
billed. Cadre makes sure the same work is never billed twice.
A brand-new Help Center. Browse topics from the
sidebar, or search for an answer. Every topic covers how Cadre works
today, including deposits, payment schedules, online booking, your
own document templates, team notes, quote options, the new quote and
invoice toolbar, and more. It's all available in English and
Spanish.
Operations search also finds notes by technician,
job number, job title or customer, and automatic flags are more
precise.
Friendlier map messages when a map or address
suggestions are temporarily unavailable.
Offline changes that need attention. The banner
links owners and admins straight to the Offline Dashboard, and lets
technicians know to ask an owner or admin to review it.
Payment options on new invoices. Choose from card,
bank transfer (ACH), cash and check. Bank transfer appears at
checkout when it's turned on in your Stripe account.
Fixes
The job link inside an invoice's Line items window
opens the job.
Invoiced jobs show where they were billed in place of the
invoicing and appointment-confirmation prompts.
Clearer wording in a job's Payment schedule about
how payments are billed.
Team notes, quote options and a new way to edit quotes and invoices
Your team can now talk about a job right where the work is, with notes
that follow it from the first request to the final invoice. Quotes can
offer your customer several options to choose from, carry any file or
link, and draw on a library of terms. And the quote and invoice screens
have a new layout that gives the document the full screen.
Heads up
Quotes and invoices have a new layout. The
settings that sat in a column on the left are now in a toolbar
across the top (Customer, Line items, Pricing, Terms, Attachments,
Template and so on). Each button shows its current value, like
"3 items · $1,500". Small settings open as a dropdown; bigger
ones, like line items, open in a window you can drag anywhere or
dock to the left or right of the document (up to two on each side),
so the document stays in view while you work.
Internal notes are now Team notes. The single
notes box on quotes, jobs and invoices is replaced by a notes feed
your whole team can post to. Anything already written in those boxes
is the first note in each feed, marked "Earlier notes". The answers
your customers give on your request form stay where they were.
Terms now live in a library. Your default terms
have moved into Settings → Credentials & terms
as "Standard terms", so your customers see exactly what they saw
before. From there you can add more.
Payment options reach your customer. The payment
methods and instructions you choose when creating an invoice now
appear on your customer's invoice. If you accept only offline
payments, like cash or check, your customer sees your instructions
under How to pay instead of a Pay button.
New
Team notes. Post notes on a request, quote, job or
invoice. Each note is timestamped and shows who wrote it. Notes
follow the work through every stage, so a note written on the
assessment is still there on the invoice, labeled with where it came
from.
Mention a teammate by typing
@. They get a notification (and a push on their
phone) naming the job or quote, and it opens right on the
note.
React with 👍 ❤️ 👎 and more.
Add photos, videos and files, or paste a link.
Anyone can view, download or copy a link to them.
On quotes and invoices, open Team notes from
the top of the screen and dock it beside the document.
Quote options. Offer your customer several ways to
do the job ("Repair", "Replace", "Replace + plan"), each with its own
line items and total. Mark one as recommended, and your customer
picks the one they want. Their choice carries through to the
deposit, the job and the invoice. Compare shows the
side-by-side view your customer gets.
Attachments on quotes and invoices. Add photos,
videos, PDFs, Word, Excel and other files, or links. Your customer
sees them in a tidy Attachments section and can view or download
each one. You can also drag media straight from a team note.
A terms library. Keep several sets of terms
("Residential", "Commercial", "Warranty"), each an uploaded PDF or
typed text, with an optional Spanish version, and choose which apply
to each quote. Changes are saved as new versions, so an approved
quote always keeps the terms your customer agreed to. In your own
templates, {Quote:Terms} shows a PDF's pages in
full.
Documents that flow like a word processor. In the
document editor, every page is a real letter-size sheet. Typing past
the bottom carries on onto the next page, and nothing is cut off at
a page edge. Name a page from its tab.
Search in your customer's documents. Your
customers can search a quote or invoice for any word, and named
pages show their name as they read.
Add unbilled work to an invoice. In an invoice's
Line items, Add unbilled work lets
you put back a line you removed, or add a change order your customer
approved on the job. Only work the job has approved can be added
this way.
Improved
The invoice screen shows your customer's view. The
invoice appears exactly as your customer's link shows it, and
updates live as you make changes.
Editing invoice lines.
The edit and delete buttons now show on phones and
tablets.
Cadre asks before removing a line.
Removing a line that came from the job sends that work back to
the job, so it can be billed again.
An invoice's total and status update as you edit.
An edit can't bring the total below what your customer has
already paid; void or refund a payment first.
A sent or paid invoice always keeps at least one line. To
cancel one, void it.
Links open with a click. Links in team notes,
visit instructions, request notes, payment notes and form
submissions open with a click.
Clearer add-ons. On quotes that use your own
template, add-ons now have a green + Add button and
a red − to remove them, like the standard
quote.
Billing.
A deactivated team member no longer takes up a seat on your
plan.
If your subscription has ended, you can restart it any time
from Settings → Billing.
Only owners and admins can change billing.
Fixes
The tip at the top of the document editor's Fields
panel shows correctly again.
Deposits, payment schedules, online booking and your own documents
This is our biggest update yet. Your customers can now pay a deposit
straight from a quote, and you can split a big job into scheduled
payments. New customers can book an assessment from your request
form, every email your customers get now carries your brand, and you
can design your own quotes, invoices, receipts, change orders and job
confirmations.
Heads up
Forms is now "Forms & Documents". Your intake
forms are where they were, and the Documents section now covers all
five documents your customers receive. Nothing changes for your
customers until you choose a template of your own. Until then,
every document uses Cadre Standard, Cadre's
built-in layout.
Your customers will start getting automatic reminders.
They'll get an email the day before a scheduled visit or assessment,
and reminders for invoices that are coming due or overdue (3 days
before the due date, on the due date, then 3 and 14 days late).
Invoices already more than a few days past a reminder date won't
suddenly get one.
Invoices no longer take new line items. To bill
extra work, add a change order on the job. Your
customer approves it, and it's billed on the invoice. You can still
edit or remove the lines already there.
Payments can't be more than what's owed. This
applies to recorded cash and check payments, online payments and
deposits, so an invoice can never show a negative balance.
Cadre now warns before double-booking someone. If
a visit or assessment would overlap something already on that
person's schedule, or their approved time off, Cadre tells you
what's in the way. You can pick another time or schedule it
anyway.
Invoices are voided, not deleted. A sent invoice
or a payment can be voided with a reason, and it stays on record.
Unsent drafts can still be deleted.
New
Design your own documents. In
Forms & Documents, pick a document type and
Customize a copy of Cadre Standard, or start blank.
The editor works like a word processor: pages, fonts, colors,
tables, images and links. Drop in fields such as
{Customer:Name} or {Quote:Total} from the
side panel, or type { to search them. Preview with
sample data or one of your real documents, with page breaks shown,
then choose which template each type uses. Quotes and invoices can
also use a different template one at a time.
Edit one document. On a quote, invoice,
change order or job confirmation that uses your template, you
can edit just that document (add a page, move a field, reword a
paragraph) without touching the template.
Built-in checks. Cadre won't put a document
into use without the essentials (for a quote: the price, what
the work is, and your business name or logo), and suggests
others, such as your license number. Fields you haven't filled
in yet (like your business phone) are highlighted, with a link
to add them. Templates always save as work in progress, and one
your customers already get keeps showing its last complete
version until your changes are ready. Edits to a single
document go out as soon as you save them, so those need the
essentials first.
Your customers see it everywhere. The quote
they approve, the invoice they pay, their receipt PDF, the
change order they sign and their job confirmation all use your
template. A quote made with it is kept exactly as the customer
approved it, so later template edits don't change it.
Business details. Add your business address,
phone, email and website in Settings → General.
They appear on your documents wherever you place them.
Deposits on quotes. Ask for a deposit on a quote,
and your customer pays just the deposit online when they approve it.
The quote total always shows the full price. Once the deposit is
paid, Cadre turns the quote into a job, sets up the payment schedule
and creates the invoice, with the deposit already credited, so it's
never charged twice. Cash or check deposits can be recorded by an
owner or admin.
Payment schedules. Split a job into payments (a
deposit plus installments) from Job → Details.
Bill each payment when it's due, on one invoice for the whole job.
Your customer is asked only for what's due now, and can choose to
pay ahead.
Online booking from your request form. Turn on
Let clients book on a form and new customers can
pick an assessment time from your real availability. Cadre allows
for drive time between appointments and blocks hours that are
already booked. Set how long an assessment takes in
Settings → Configurations.
Request emails. Your customer gets a confirmation
when they send a request, and you and your admins get an alert for
every new lead.
Terms and credentials on quotes. Add your license,
insurance and terms (English and Spanish) in
Settings → Configurations. Cadre Standard shows
your license and insurance on every quote; in your own templates,
place them where you want them. You can require customers to accept
your terms before approving a quote, and Cadre keeps a record of
each acceptance.
Your look on Cadre Standard. If you keep Cadre's
built-in layout, choose its font, accent color and header style
under Forms & Documents (pick Quotes, Invoices
or Receipts). Your own templates set their own look in the editor.
Automatic emails always carry your logo and brand color.
Job numbers. New jobs get a number (J-1001,
J-1002 and so on). Jobs created before this update keep no
number.
Activity history. Invoices and jobs have an
Activity tab showing who did what and when: sent,
paid, voided, edited. Owners and admins can see the full log in
Settings → Activity log.
Automatic visit start. With the Cadre app open and
your technician clocked in, a scheduled visit starts itself when
they arrive on site.
Custom stops on routes. Add a supply run or any
other stop to a technician's route from Dispatch.
Search businesses by name and star the places you use often.
Schedule card view. A day view that shows each
visit as a card.
Improved
Job confirmations cover the whole job. The
confirmation email lists every visit, the payment schedule and your
terms, not just the first visit.
Adding a visit opens right on the job, and the
job's end date follows its last visit.
The schedule sizes each visit to its real length,
shows a multi-visit job as one job ("Visit 2 of 4"), and marks
visits still awaiting your customer's confirmation.
Money screens update on their own. Invoices,
payment schedules and the invoice list refresh when a payment comes
in, without reloading the page. You also get a notification when a
customer pays a deposit.
The live map shows technicians' positions within
seconds.
The online invoice works better on phones: the pay
button is easy to reach, and it always shows the amount actually
being charged.
Settings and the team list now fit a phone
screen.
Copy customer details in one click. On a
customer's page, hover their name, company, email, phone or address
to copy it.
Clearer confirmations. Prompts like "Leave without
saving?" and "Delete this template?" now appear as Cadre dialogs
instead of your browser's pop-ups.
Fixes
The logo in receipt emails no longer disappears after an hour.
A visit with no end time no longer blocks a technician's whole day.
Day-before reminders use your business's own date, not UTC.
The "payments due" count no longer includes payments already made.
Removing a payment from a payment schedule no longer causes an error.
